Music to write by

How do you like to write, or to work? Complete silence, TV on in the background, or with an inspiring soundtrack serenading you?

Personally, I'm a bit shit at multi-tasking, especially if I'm doing some editing or writing a difficult scene. In those times, everything has to be dead silent (and impeccably tidy, too. I'm weird).

However, if I'm just throwing down some ideas onto a page, I like to have some atmospheric tunes in the background. Sometimes, the right music can get you in the mood to write and inspire the words to keep coming.

For those times, I created a writing playlist on Spotify, jam-packed full of haunting melodies and pretty piano and atmospheric folky tunes, and I wanted to share it with you.
